I do.

Do you know the meaning of the adjective in the sentence?

The G90 can run forever on petrol. Just like the F90.

You have a moot point, the G90 can also run forever on electric power.

Point is the i4 and the G90 both have electric motors driven by a battery, both subject to the same electrical issues.

That’s absolute nonsence.

The G90 can run with an empty battery. The i4 cannot.

With a failed battery, the G90 still produces 585hp. In the same scenario, the i4 is bricked.

There are three broad vehicle categories

ICE: Gas only

EV: Electric only

PHEV: Both.

Which of those 3 categories does an OG Prius or any hybrid that you can’t plug in fit in to? Also what is a BEV?

The reality is that BEV and PHEV are both types of EVs. And if the “EV” in “PHEV” doesn’t obviate that enough for you, the US GOV definition can be found in the first sentence on this page: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity

It's pedantry like this that really MOVES a discussion forward.

When you measure 100-200 starting from zero you get worse times than starting from 80 or 90 km/h as the longer the run the higher the IAT which reduce performance.
Measuring 100-200 starting from 80-90 km/h will be a around 6.2 which is very hard to believe.

That’s not a definition. It’s a classification.
Very different.

Classifying the G90 as an EV is great news for those of us who reside in countries that tax ICE to death.

The reality, however, is that G90 can run fine on gas only, just like the F90 et al.

One would be foolish not to charge it… but it’s not essential.

Charging is essential for EVs.

If you believe EVs & PHEVs are synonymous then let’s just agree to disagree. ✌🏻

“I suspect you haven’t driven a powerful BMW PHEV.“ when you haven’t driven one either.

Exactly, no need to be snarky, in general.

I have just sold my 545e. B58 + PHEV. I owned it for two years and it was not short of power.
