LOL -- that's what we call our two male kittens as well... I keep telling my wife we should've gotten females.

^ I have a female and even though she's a senior now she can still be a little furry monster who tears through the house attacking any unsuspecting dust-bunny or bug or piece of string or anything that moves. She's also been known to scratch and bite her humans if they catch her in a bad mood. The males that I've had have been the gentler and cuddlier of the two sexes. Of course I always get either sex 'fixed' which calms them down a bit.

Well - the fluff ball turned 3. Little party for them with treats...even the kitty was part of it.

Good times...yes, good times.

Maybe give this a shot?

It's done a pretty radical turnaround on Boo. He's normally a grumblebunny (with the occasional growl), but the collar has done *amazing* things. Now? We're at the "purr purr purr" stage and flipping over to get his belly pet.

Might be worth a couple bucks to see if it helps-- it took about a week for it to take effect.

They make plug-in aromizers for this too. Not sure they did anything major for our girls, but we keep one running. I hear mixed results (some get super results, some not so much, probably like catnip). They are a regular go-to in the feral-rescue community around here.

Boo is reliving his kittenhood.

He played in this tube when he was a kitten, and I'd given it to my mother when she got her two kittens.

Since then, it's been sitting up in a box in my father's garage.

I brought it home last week, and Boo's been more or less living in it.

Kitten Check:

My wife hosted her office's Christmas party tonight and about 24 people wandered up to see the new additions to the Monochrome Tribe.

They were *so* good-- people would come up to the bedroom, and the little terrorists would just lay in the middle of the bed looking adorable so they'd get pets and scritches.

Bailey's left and Piper's right.

Kitten Check..... Kitten Check Good.

They're just about four months old (well, they will be in three days). Integration has been successful. Max *adores* them, Boo is..... well, still a little freaked out, but has resigned himself to having kittens underfoot.

Piper weighs 4.5 lbs. and Bailey weighs 4.7 lbs. Considering they're eating us out of house and home (Important Safety Tip: Kittens are ALWAYS hungry), I expect those numbers to rise significantly as the Great Kitten Adventure continues.

Have they learned to open the fridge or cupboard doors yet? That's usually a very fun developmental milestone on that pathway of discovery. When you get into the range of cute that kittens occupy, you have to start measuring it in terms of what terrible shit you let them get away with because of how cute they are. Those guys look like they will go up to 11.

We had a cat years ago, was my son's cat and he named him Mr. Bill. His favorite thing to do was knock my glasses off my desk. He would do it and then just look at me, like what are you going to do about it?

That is Pepper's trick as well (she is the Russian blue/tortie). We routinely find anything not nailed down has ended up on the floor, or in the bathroom sink; worst was my favorite scotch glass.
