Wink Marina Bay Blue G90 M5 pre delivery

The beast touched down at the dealership, still with shipping wraps and blocks.
Delivery’s is only early January, but at least I know the Christmas gift is already there

Options :
Marina bay blue
Ceramic brakes
Carbon interior trim
Comfort pack
Driving assistance pack

I did not win the tyre lottery and my “sports tyres” are Pirelli Pzero which will probably be dead in 8-10 months if the last as long as on my G80. They are good but not long.

Photos courtesy of my favourite salesman.

Congrats, that looks fantastic. I wouldn’t normally go for blue but that colour looks really good on the G90, i bet it looks even better in the metal.

Congrats! G90 Looks better and better.

Just curious how it works in US, that car is already there, but "delivery" is on January?

It's a car registration thing (not sure if BMW actually prevents dealers from registering the car before next year)... Also here in Ireland the plate has the car's registration year so for "value" it's better if the car is a year "newer".
The delivery time when ordering (july/august) was set for mid January anyway so it's still a pleasant surprise to have it there already and not worry about delivery delays with the winter break.

My current m8 is MBB color and i love it and i think it is one of the best bmw colors
I did NOT order it on my M5 because i feel this color works better on a car with less sharp angles and more cohesive design and a dark color works better on those cars like M2 and M5 g90
I went with the deep frozen grey (it is painful to pay 3600 lol) and while i thought it will be common to see given the car was launched with this color and i did not see any in real life yet and pretty none of the one on the lot is DFG

I still ,think MBB will look better on a touring then sedan
Again it is a personal taste

That's funny, all my previous cars were blue but my wife couldn't stand it this time around so she chose red. I wanted to secretly change the color to blue but my dealer said the order was locked.

Got at the dealership myself and took a few more photos... They were 3 lined up in the showroom, but they have 9 coming ... definitely a huge success due to the tax loophole here making it cheap (understand not tax penalised) in comparison to other things. The frozen black looks so mean. Amazing but i don't dare taking frozen paints if i need any kind of cosmetic repairs done.

Coming from my M3 with bucket seats and red interior this feels less special but its a comfortable place to be.

Can't wait for January for the delivery.

I have the same color setup as well and just picked mine up on Saturday! It is at the shop getting full Matte wrap with Stek film. I like to wrap all my car’s matte for making upkeep and cleaning easier! Can’t wait to pickup on Friday when I get back in town! It looks way better in person and is very smooth and comfortable to drive. Love all the tech improvements over my previous F90 and similar to the ‘23 G80 M3 im coming out of. I had full leather in G80 and G90 feels nicer overall inside. I wish I had room to keep it as well but we have 4 cars and limited garage space. Wouldn’t have gotten rid of G80 but I have three kids and wanted more room without sacrificing performance.

Congrats, looks very nice! Looking forward to your matte ppf. Right now I need a solid wheel recommendation.

It was a really tough decision because this car looks amazing shiny and I was torn between matte or clear bra with ceramic and decided to do matte again.

You can never go wrong with HRE.

With the tire options out there, you may need to go 21’s instead of 22’s. I’m not sure there is a 22” tire with the appropriate load rating.

Any particular HRE?
