Those who recently took their delivery - how big of a problem is the weight?

Hey!

I used to daily drive F82 (overall did 60k miles). Didn't really track it, also have other sportier cars for that job anyways.

I've been really missing ///M, so started shopping for a replacement to my Mercedes S560 that is aging. Overall, super comfortable air ride, but boring.

My first pick was obviously G82, but I accidentally got inside M5 today. Despite all the news online and my personal feelings (heavy, ugly), I fell in love (yes, even with the iPad ).

Didn't feel anything wrong with the quality whatsoever (and I am saying this, daily driving designo leather). In fact, I didn't even realize it wasn't full leather until I got home

To those who took the delivery, how are you enjoying it?
How big of a problem the weight really is?
And if you choose normal breaks, are you finding them good enough? (shortage on CCB anyways).

From what I am hearing from actual owners perspective, not much of an issue.

The car drives like the f90 m5 on a regular basis
Unless you push the car really hard you will, not feel the weight
I have regular brakes and they are totally fine (i put them in sport all the time)
The car is a better daily car then previous m cars like f90 or m8
The only downside is the exhaust and once fixed it is more enjoyable then my previous m8
Having hybrid is kind if nice although i am not a big fan
I will repeat that this car is underated
The only problem with this car is the exhaust note and the lack of some luxury options
People like to hate on new things especially if they are a big change
And yes i like this car better then my prebious m8 (i never though i will say that)

Coming from G80 and G81:

The weight is not an issue until you're on the limit and the limit is far... it's a very capable car and same as the G8x, you'd need to push ridiculously on a road to test the limit. That being said if you want just to play with the backend under power it's actually easier on the G90.

I've CCB but i'm sure with normal brakes it's the same, car stop very well.

I'm around 1100 miles in and I honesty don't feel the weight at all. In fact most of the reviews on the car also say the same thing. The power is just so great that it feels so planted. As others have stated the exhaust note is the one glaring weakness of this car. You would think after putting 717 HP in this beast and making it look super aggressive they would equally justify the exhaust note. The internal pumped in sound is nice but after a while you can tell its not real. My previous car was a Audi S5 sportback with a ECU stage 1 tune and I miss its deep growl, pops and crackles.

Weight is not an issue until you are driving crazy fast I.e 130 mph on winding roads.
