I just had a claim for roof damage from a windstorm and I'm waiting for my insurance to cancel my policy.

Bad enough that we already have to worry about falling off the edge of the earth. A big hole in the middle will just makes things worse.

I would laugh, but my car was actually struck by falling space junk one time. It was a fingernail-sized flake of hot titanium, that tore through the leaves of the tree where my car was parked and bounced off the windshield just as I was about to climb in. No damage, probably because the leaves slowed it down significantly.....

Yeah, but the real concern is that the odds are going up. It was 2.3% last week, now it’s 3.1%. If that trend keeps up, it won’t stay a ‘small chance’ for long. Kinda gives off 'Don’t Look Up' vibes.
