He is getting old and it is showing in quite a few ways. He is very into comfort these days. He mixes up lots of facts and gets confused about things. Contradicts himself quite a lot too.

We all get old though. It is what it is. I still enjoy his channel very much, I just don’t take much credence in what he says in his reviews anymore as they don’t really apply to me.

No it’s not, f90 was a horrible drive, I sold it and moved to an m4 because I felt it was not a connected drive. It was just fast and had massaging seats. I have had m2 drivers test drive my car and come out raving about the connected drive of the g90, and we know how m2 is probably the most M machine bmw has had for a while.

I think he was on crapy / winter tyres, so the road noise and handling is pretty impacted ? Not familiar with the Hankook, usually press cars have the Michelin PSS 5*

He doesn't seem to know the electric motor is in the gear box and has actual gears.

I don’t know that’s a fair assessment. He seems pretty sharp. The thing he does best is the very applicable, informative driving experience. He also gives weights usually (not always accurate) and noise levels (much appreciated). Here’s a great recent review.

Looks like Harry appreciates the new F90 M5 for what it is,...and not so much for what he wants or thinks it should be,...the times are changing,...the time has changed!

For those that get it,...ignore the noise and enjoy the hell out-of-it!

I prefer watching presenters with some history in motorsport and a solid knowledge base. Savage Geese get an honorable mention.

You must be into the gay sexual innuendo from the likes of Carwow, Throttle House, etc.

Say what?

HG and SG are next level, I agree
TH, CW, SP, and others are mid tier but no need to throw shade
There are many, many low level that I feel are open game to criticize

I don't think it's bloody good.
Yes, times are changing but not necessarily for the good. I think it's easier to swallow for those that didn't grow up with cars.

His conclusion included "pretty bloody good" in the context of the legislations out there and for efficiency and power. 23:40 mark.

Here's his plusses and minuses

Dislikes:
-fat steering wheel
-interior doesn't justify the price
-suspension/harsh ride quality
-large size
-not a real charismatic engine

Likes:
-monumentally quick
-RWS and sporty driving dynamics
-pure electric mode
-modes, feel like several cars in one
-good price to value relative to prior gen and MB and Porsche - plus lower taxes in some markets - including a full blown twin turbo V8
-MPG overall is outstanding

Another fair review from Harry. I like his work, and value his style and thinking.

(Don’t necessarily agree with every opinion he renders but appreciate his perspective)

This particular model continues to be a hard pass for me for all the reasons.

Imagine they attempted a v10 in todays G series cars. The world would be enamored while the critics would then criticize for old means of propulsion.

I love both the sound and feel of the old v10. I was lucky to test drive it when it was new when it got the manual. In all fairness it felt like a v8.

Had that v10 been paired with the 8 speed automatic we have today- it would have been blockbuster.

I have. As I said, market is shifting but most agree and dislike the heavier, cheaper quality and less connected feel.
I'll let you know when I want your opinion. Respect and don't be childish.

It’s a 2 way street pal. If you don’t like the m5 then go back to whatever forum you came from.

It weighs more than a Ford F150, isn’t even in the same league when it comes to speed as the other hybrid or EV super sedans and interior quality is questionable at best. While I’ll give BMW kudos for pushing the platform forward, the G90 will be the red headed step child of the m5 in a few years (if not already). And did I mention it weighs more than a F150 😛.
