big price difference but what do you guys think, is it worth it? let me know

I'm guessing this is for the house?

I saw a segment on tv last week about LED's vs Halogen vs whatever other bulb.

I believe Halogen produced the most natural looking color on things in the room. LED's were a bit off. In the case of the program it was a fruit bowl underneath countertop lights.

I like LED's though.

For car applications... LED FTMFW just after Xenon's

For home applications... Halogen, LED lets off too much blue hued light. It's just not natural. It's also too damn expensive for most home lighting. I was buying some puck lights for under my cabinets and the LED version of the halogen ones I got were near double the price. I just couldn't justify the extra dough for something only I would know was LED.
