Ordered the illuminated mid horn covers for the front doors to replace the cloth cover. I have no connection to the vendor but he was responsive to questions, honestly concerned about fitment for 2025 G90 and suggested I cancel until can confirm door panel is same as 2024 G60 and shipped and delivered fast.
Just got the two mid covers

Haven’t done mod yet but will update when I do.

Instructions are a bit weak but shouldn’t be too tough to figure out

Just took a closer look at parts in garage. Fairly straight forward. The replacement cover has a luminous ring. The connection cable is a simple piggy back to splice into existing lighting power cable by using the two purple connectors. The cable has up to three connections to luminous rings depending on the application. I am only doing front mids so I would use one of the white plug cables to attach to the covers luminous ring.

The directions may be better for you since you’re Chinese but for me we’re not great. Communication from vendor was great but the directions were not ended up damaging my first panel as many more point of fixation for the lower part of door panel needed to be removed in order to safely get the old piece out and the new one in. Second door was not bad but first was a bitch.

so the speaker is already in the car just covered with the cheap fabric instead of the light up grille?

you should do a little write up on how to install these, the pitfalls you ran into with the 1st door etc cause there's likely to be a lot of people doing this mod. One could hope BMW includes them in the '26 MY since they're also replacing the windows/mirror switches on the doors but gunna assume not

I'm very sorry to hear that, but this cover plate i think can be purchased individually. You may check with the supplier. good luck!

There is a speaker behind the black mesh and that is what becomes the lighted speaker in the new lighted grill. There is also a speaker in the other cover that is lower in the door panel.
