Hi Everyone,

A week or so ago, my rep found an M5 that matches everything I want. BUT, it's being held at port due to a software update. I guess this affects quite a large number of cars.

Anyone have any insight into what's going on? If I knew this was a short time, I'd just "buy" the car....but I don't want to wait 3 months.

Thoughts?

I haven’t heard anything about this. My car left the port about 8 ago after arriving there April 2nd.

Mine is on a ship with expected arrival in NYC (Bayonne NJ) on April 21/22. I was told the same thing…there is a stop sale and we should anticipate delays. No other information other than software. With that said, I’ve been through this and other times it was just a few days to do a simple software update. We’ll see. I love my F90 so much I’m not sure I’m upset about a delay.
