I had the same issue went to the dealer. They fixed it within 20 minutes. They said the emblem was on too tight which was pulling on the leather. They loosened it and it fixed the issue.

I have a 2026 G90 and it’s very quiet inside. As much as maybe they didn’t cover as many surfaces with leather like the dash, door cards and console, I think the car is generally quieter because of it and the dash will hold up better in the sun. I’ve seen many high end leather dashes look horrible after a few years in the sun. That being said the Germans could take a page out of range rovers book on how to do an interior.

The only thing I notice is some wind noise around my door while above like 60mph. That is a little surprising to me. Does anybody have any ideas to fix that?

Another thing of note... Everyone is talking about how expensive this car is but it’s not. It’s much cheaper than the equivalent Mercedes or rs6 and I think the tech and drivetrain is better. It also def looks better inside and out imo

So I had the same issue with my G90.

It was definitely more than just leather on plastic.

They tried the leather softener stuff on it twice, and it didn't fix it. Then they ordered some replacement parts for the headrest, and that dropped the sound a fair amount, but it didn't go away. The sound was like plastic tapping against plastic.

Swapped the car out for a G99 after 10k miles with the G90, and the G99 makes no noise like that at all.

I suspect that there's some plastic piece in the headrest that can crack, and that's the noise you hear.

I'm glad to hear that you resolved the problem; however, it keeps happening in my car—especially on cold days.

Someday soon, I'll take the seat apart and install the tape I bought.
