Well, it is more hp than any production M to date! And much, much more torque. So I care!

wheels are crap. I'd rather just go with stock.
and is it just me, or does Kleemann sound like some type of body part related to sexual organs... which can then be used as some type of profanity? "ohh baby, i love licking your kleemann..." or "you kleemann-sucking doucebag"... sorry OT

Then you get stuck with an old 5-speed automatic slush box, which is slow to shift at best, even with the updated AMG SpeedShift programs. The 7 speed slush box simply can't handle the TQ of the V12, not that the 7-sp is that much better in terms of gearing.

That is right, you will get the old 5 speed to handle that torque, but you rearly don't need quick gearshifts to make this car fast. With 700+hp and 800 pounds/feet of torque, the slow gears of the tranny are simply a non-issue.

Yep, but AMG has always been ahead of the curve especially in torque, I also think that given the very harsh restrictions being passed in both Europe and now the USA regarding emissions in particular, plus the high price of fuel, we've probably seen the most powerful RS's, M's and AMG out we're going to see in a long, long time at least. So go out and get your goddies. lol! By the way, the current AMG line up is only a few horses more powerful than the old and in fact has lower torque than it used to (other than the C-Class that showed a huge improvement).
