Front plate ticket parked at meters

Got a ticket parked at the meters in J-town. bummed cause I parked to carpool to Dodger Stadium. Stadium parking is $15. the ticket was $25, LAPD. Is there an option to put the plate on, take it to a station, and not pay? or pay a lesser amount?

I'll send a check in, but there is really no mandatory change I have to make.
Note to self: don't park at the meters in J-town ... nor in Chinatown...or at any meters as a matter of fact. Parking lots only.

If it was a fix-it ticket then yeah you can "fix it" and get no fine. If not, well sorry you are just going to have to shell out the $25...

BTW Where in westlake are you from? I live by the Lindero/Kanan intersection...

So is this a fix-it ticket? Do you have to put the front plate on, then take it to a station for them to sign off on? The reason I ask is because I got a fix-it ticket about 2 months ago from CHP. There was a $10 fee and I had to show them proof of correction.. which I did without drilling any holes into the bumper.. it was a "temporary" solution painters tape, velcro, oem bmw front license bracket, and your license plate is all you need for the temporary fix.

Does your insurance increase as a result of fix-it tickets?

I'm thinking keep my plate prepped with double sided tape in the trunk...when I park at the meters, I slap that plate on the front bumper and that it! I'm just risking someone jacking my plate.

how does that sound?

Wo...that's pricey! that would be enough incentive to plate the car.
