So I'm in the San Fernando Valley today running some errands in the 90 degree heat. I stop at the local Shell Station to get some gas and I'm pumping away when some Dumb-Ass-Ho walks up to me, makes a cigarette lighter gesture with her hand, and asks if I have a light!?!?! I give her long stare and tell her "No, but you might want to check in the mini-mart (attached to the station) for some matches," ...then I get the fuck outta there! It was super-hot at the gas station and you could smell the gas fumes everywhere. What the hell is wrong with people these days?

And before you ask, no she wasn't hot... maybe bang-able but not hot.

she was a nigerian scammer. as soon as you would have gone up to her she would have told you that you won the lottery and you need to give her a $10,000 legal fee to free up your winnings.

I do gas stations inspections for my county's weights and measures. Everyday I go out, I see people smoking cigarettes at the gas stations. Sometimes it's the managers or store clerks. They'll even come out to have a smoke and talk to me about the "idiots" who file gas complaints against them. All i can do is stare at them with a blank look on my face. It's sad the caliber of people they have working there. They don't seem to care about their safety or anyone else's. The greatest times are when I find cigarette butts chillin right on top of the inlet fill pipe cover leading directly to the stations tanks. I've even seen people smoking at stations with propane tanks. If you know anything about propane, you'll know how volatile it is compared to gasoline. Simple stupidity and carelessness.
