HDR-SR11 60GB High Definition Handycam Camcorder: VIDEO EDITING

I bought this new camera, I have taken many videos of my current setup (JB3, cattless DP's, Milltek) but I cannot find out how to edit the format the camera records in. None of the video editing softwares I have work with the HD format.

So does anyone know of any softwares I can use to edit my clips. I want to share them with the members on this forum.

I have the HDR-SR1 and had to wait a long time until software packages released updates to support M2TS.

Here's one solutions.

I use Sony Vegas. Does a good job, but requires a good proc and ram. Others use Adobe Premiere. Neither solutions is free, unfortunately. You could also use the Sony software bundled with it to convert the AVCHD to an SD video.
