GRID: Racing Game. (E90 material inside)
Siiiiiiiick! :yikes: Racing in places like Milan Italy, San Francisco California, and Shibuya Japan! I don't have the car list right now, but from the pictures it has a wide diversity of cars cars from old American Muscle to Silvia S15's, new Z06's, 350Z's, Vipers, all the way to the Aston Martin DBRS. I may have to pick this up , -Chris |

for PC´s and it´s darn hard to drive !! Haven´t really spent any time on it so far due to too much work but it does promise to be fun. BTW no M3 but it can be downloaded as far as I´ve heard.

The graphics stomp on Forza, but the gameplay sucks ass.

grid is OK, controls are too sensitive as in you tap it, and your car spins....i'd rather play Gran turismo...but unfortunately, no ps3...just a 360 and a pc......waiting for RACE for the 360!

The gameplay isn't that bad if you're not looking for a simulator. It's a nice change of pace from prologue.
... but the 320d on the game drives like pure asshole.

It means that a lot of the cars in the game are a lot higher end so when you race a gt3 over and over again and you're put back into a 320d, it feels like a slow, wobbly piece of lard.

I tried out the demo to this game, and found the game engine and physics to be much more "arcade" like than Gran Turismo. It's really twitchy trying to play with the gamepad, and cars seemingly like to go full throttle around bends, a la Ridge Racer-style drifting. When trying to play the game like I would Gran Turismo, I get schooled like crazy.
I'm more a fan of simulation-style racing games, so GRID doesn't really do it for me. Forza 2 for the Xbox 360 looks awesome, but I haven't be able to try it yet, as I don't own a 360.

Unlike Gran Turismo GRID has damage effects, I always felt that GT not having damage keeps it "arcade" like too. Knowing that you can't just bounce off the walls makes you drive different.

No love for Project Gotham? I'm playing GRID now and it's not as much fun as PGR4 was....
