So i just bought a PS3, someone help me with this thing...

but does anyone have a PS3 connected to an Apple Airport Extreme network with WEP? I cant get the damn PS3 to connect to it. Im seriously about to go buy a lynksis router

A quick google search indicates that some folks have had success with these router settings:

radio mode: 802.11n (802.11b/g)
channel: 11
multicast rate: 5.5Mbps

Also, make sure you're up to date on the firmware on both devices. Once you get that working with WEP, I'd advise dumping WEP and moving to WPA or WPA2 if possible. You can do both WPA and WPA2 on the Airport Extreme simultaneously, or just use WPA2 exclusively. I don't know if this is compatible with the PS3, but WEP is *weak* protection. Good luck man!
