Holy crap. 98 feet 60-0 is ludicrous for a car with carbon/ceramic composite brakes.

I want to see 0-150 times. Much more telling measuremant of performance for a car in this league.

45-65 in 1.7 seconds is pretty nuts. That's getting darn close to a G of acceleration in second gear from a roll.

My prediction is that on S2Ki, this will end up as the biggest GTR flame thread ever, and it's all your fault.

You wouldnt expect any less from me would ya?? haha

They need to be shown that damn car isnt invincible to the top tier 911. I'm still waiting to see if anybody else can replicate the 3.3 0-60mph times. I heard that the real world times were like 3.8seconds.

Just wait for the ''real fanboys'' to get home from work.

It has launch assist, probably do it all day or until the clutch broke.

I'm waiting to see if it can even keep up with a GT3. When I pointed out that third party times are closer to a 996 GT3 (only a little slower) than a 997, they got a bit upset.

Ruh roh, I posted track numbers to back up my point. I give it 2 hours until someone comes to tell me that he doesn't think the GTR was going "all out" or that the track might have been "partially damp".

S2Ki needs to be renamed GTRi.

I think we held that thread up pretty good. I expected a much worse assault.

Give it 24 hours. There are a few other members with names like "GTRFANOIFORLIFEOMGZ". Could post up a 135i vs Evo thread if you want to REALLY stir things up.

Oh dont...please dont...lol I will make my triumphant return to 135i talk over there after a 'rag does a review of the 135i vs evo vs STI. As long as it places ahead of one of those, I'm happy.

I need to see a real world test between the GTR and the GT2 before I'd believe anything. and the GTR is so Fing ugly even if it is faster you couldn't pay me to drive one.(unless no one was around to see) the beauty of a high HP turbo rear wheel drive 911 just makes me week in the knees. I bet same driver same day same conditions around a track the GT2 will spank that glorified 350Z

I knew the Z06 ran great numbers but didn't think about it until I read this article....Just wait till the ZR1 comes out! Yikes! I saw the ZR1 @ the Philly auto show and all I could say is "Wow look at that beast". I think the rear tires on it had to be the widest I ever seen on a street legal car.
