It depends on whether or not each turbo had its own cat and piping or not.

yea I like the quad pipes too... but I like it the way it is too.

i don't like quads b/c it seems "M" poser, but I have to admit that looks really clean

The most respectfull M cars (E30, E36 EVO, E34 M5) and the most hardcore ones came with dual exhausts Quad exhausts indicated the start of BMW's fat era

the first wave of cars with the quad exhausts were a bit fat, but were still great cars, but it was the beginning of the end.
