Honestly Acura is an american brand and as to start making their own models. Screw the JDM or euro versions they will sadly always be built for economy. Honda=economy / Acura=driving experience, luxury, reliable, bang for the buck. They really need starting using SH. Slap an 8 cylinder in the RL,Bring back the integra.
On a side note I miss japanese cars I can remember that Ive never been to the garage to have something repaired on my cars. While my Euros have been troublesome when the service advisors knows youre address ...bad news(been there too often). Oh well until they(acura, lexus, infiniti) Ill stick with the euro cars. |

Honda Civic Si doesn't=Economy.
Honda Civic Si=Quick, great handling FWD car, great seats, and Economy price. Other Honda'a=Economy, I agree. The new 09 Acura TL will have SH-AWD, but no real HP increase, from a 286hp 3.5 to a 300hp 3.7. They need to turbocharge the 3.5 or 3.7 with the SH-AWD and offer a manual, which they aren't going to do. STUPID Acura. |

Dont get me wrong its the same as a GTI and MS3. I love the civic Si. When I sold the RSX-S(My 03) it was one of the saddest day of my life. I called my friend and told him I dont feel like getting the new one have giving up the car. I swear if I would come across that exact same car(same VIN) I would buy it back |

1. BMW 2. Infiniti 3. Lexus 4. MB 5. Audi 6. Acura the reason for Lex at 3 is because they need something new!! Yes there hybrids are class leading but thats it. |

You know you're a bad company when your previous gen cars look better than your current gen cars. The 08 TSX's look tons better than the 09 TSX's. They aren't even planning on a coupe version and their engine actually lost horespower!! WTF?! Also, the car is just not attractive IMO.

I do have to agree Acura is making big mistakes. They are now behind Infiniti and Lexus in the RWD market. The new 09 TL coming out will be heavier and even though it will have SH AWD, it will only have 300hp and NO manual option. Acura knows how to supercharge well. I don't know why they don't offer the new 09 TL with a turbo 3.5 liter with 330hp, SH-AWD and a manual. It would be awesome and would sell fantastic. Acurazine was my old home and I know it would sell like HOTCAKES. I won't even consider the new 09 with SH-AWD, 300hp and an automatic. STUPID ACURA. |
