I tired it since I have Gmail and it had me signed up automatically but it was just a bunch of people in South America trying to add me that don't really speak english.

What are the advantages to this? Is the technology more advanced than Myspace (not very advanced)

That's what I heard... it took off before myspace but got overrun with people that don't speak english for some reason.

i think you'll like it if you know enough people that use it.. join the communities you're interested in and chances are you'll see people you know already.

basically it's the same as other networking sites, just the interface and formatting is different and a lot less cluttered.
