I have an 08 LX sedan. Decent interior, worst stereo system ever, floaty feel, drives like a Buick. I will take the 6MT Coupe' V6.

That is the dumbest thing I have seen. I am shocked at how selfish and stupid that is. So glad those a$$hats aren't in my 'hood.

Slalom speed is only one aspect of handling, and there are plenty of people who disagree with your opinion.

The GTO didn't fail after only a couple years of production because they couldn't keep up with the demand for them. They failed because people didn't want them because they were an inferior car to the competition.

Next they will bleat about the 'pigs picking on us' and how unfair it is.
As you are mostly aware, the GTO is the Holden Monaro .. it handles quite well given the antiquated trailing arm IRS.
As for failing... what V8 RWD competition did they have ?

I really liked the gto, I thought it was as nice as my e36 m3

but I did not buy one because of all the negative press and the problems they had selling them

I still like them

Wow.. did this go off topic. I see a bunch of people that should be jailed, regardless of car.

OFF TOPIC

The sales of GTO's fail because GM fail to advertise the existence of GTO. Till this day I never saw an advertisement for the GTO, either on television or any non automobile magazine. The only way I learn about GTO was on Motor Trent's web site.

Now back to the topic at hand.

Those kids should be arrested and all vehicles confiscated, sold at auction.

The GTO was planned for a 3 year run from inception. The car was an experiement to see what it would take to bring an Australian car to the US market.

The G8 is proof that it wasn't a failure.
