cleaning diecast model cars

I've neglected my small collection of 1/18 scale diecast cars and need to clean them. What sort of solution should I use? Warm water and little soap?

I clean mine in the kitchen sink w/warm water and a few drops of dish-washing soap, rinse, and then blot dry w/a soft towel.
Done!
