Key Fob Keeps Falling Out Of Slot!

Anyone else had this problem?...the plastic remote key fob on my E90 will not stay in and falls out so easily. Nothing seems to 'lock' it into place.

The car keeps going once the fob has fallen out onto the floor but does display the key with a line through it on the dashboard display.

Apart from carrying some Sellotape around with me to keep it stuck in, has anyone any ideas?

Take it to the dealership, something is obviously wrong. You shouldn't be able to remove the fob until you press it in and feel/hear the click. I think your locking mechanism is jacked up.

Take it to the dealer.
