I love the new Camaro .......It combines old muscle style with futuristic cues which in my opinion is perfect......

Call me insane, but I'm really digging the Mustang. The interior to me is MUCH nicer than the Camaro's, and I would actually give it a slight edge in the exterior dept. as well. Something about the Mustang's cleaner lines goes over better with me than the sharply sculpted Camaro.
And I'm surprised that the performance numbers between the SS and the GT are so close: Quote:
I also think the Mustang might, over time, be the more livable car to deal with on a day to day basis. I saw a picture of the Camaro's trunk, not only is is pretty small, but the lift over is higher than I've seen on some SUV's and the opening is extremely tiny, which makes the trunk pretty useless. I'd reserve final judgment until I see both cars and have a chance to sit in them. BTW, am I the only one no longer that impressed with the Genesis coupe?

The fact that the Mustang can be had with a Red/Black/Silver interior combo is good to know. I'm a huge fan of that interior color combo. I agree with you on the body too, but I can't choose a decisive winner. I think each car looks unique yet similar enough to garner a large amount of merit. I would like to see a Stang with a spoiler of some sort though, be it a lip or a mild wing.

On a slight tangent, I think the 2010 GT500 is ABSOLUTELY BITCHIN!

Can't say I agree with you on the GT500 though...the wheels are perfect...but the front it just too soft looking for me. It looks strong like in a buff way, but it's just a little too soft around the edges.

I would take the Camaro exterior wise which in theory is enough for me to take it over the Mustang. Though the steering wheel and shifter is worrying me if I ever decide to get a pony car. Can't wait until Ford brings out the Boss V8 to see what extra power will do for the Mustang as the Modular V8 is an ancient POS. |
