Congrats on the puppy!
For those who would like to adopt, but want a specific breed, you can always find a breed rescue. My mother in law just adopted a 1 year old Great Dane through a rescue organization. Oddly, my wife and I got a Cane Corso/Neopolitan mix from the shelter a couple of months ago. But if you do or don't adopt, please spay or neuter you pet and be a responsible owner. |

It's actually very easy, you take your dog to a person called a "Veterinarian" and he performs a simple operation and you get back a dog who will be less aggressive, more obidient and if he gets loose he won't sire a bunch of puppies that will need to be put down.

We have a 3 year old male dog. We waited 2 years to neuter him. Before being neutered, when we took him to the park, he had no interest in playing with the dogs. All he wanted to do was pee on everything. Now he's neutered and plays with the other dogs. I wish we wouldn't have waited so long to do it.
