3 Series Compact?

Hi guys!

Any idea about a possible compact version of the new 3 series? I've been wondering for quite some time now, but haven't heard anything serious enough. It would be interesting to see...the design at least.

Peace.. :>

No. BMW tried this once and learned its lesson.

Well, the BMW shooting brake idea is a 3-series compact.

I think the upcoming Z2 coupe will be as close as you get.

The Shooting Brake photoshop makes for a nice looking BMW A3

Hmm, I thought the 1 Series was already available in Europe. Apparently, (according to an article in a local newspaper on the weekend) the 1 is coming to Canada in 2008 but it won't be the hatchback. I didn't know that there are, or will be, other models of the 1 besides the hatchback.

There is the 1-series. Next year there will be 135i with twin turbo as well.
