Maybe you guys will like this one better
Sort of like what a new RS5 might look like from Audi.

Yeah..the S5 weighs too much..I agree. I have a friend that has one and takes it on the track....I can catch and pass him in my car. He is an instructor too.

You mean RS5? The current S5 has a 4.2 V8 producing 420hp

The current S5 and the 2010 S5 have the naturally aspirated 4.2 later but that will change in 2011. I'm just wondering if the RS series will follow suit because there is so much more untapped power (and fuel efficiency) with forced induction. Heck I won't be surprised if the next generation M3/5/6 are turbo/super charged.
Here is an excerpt from Edmunds Inside Line. "The all-wheel-drive 2010 S5 Cabriolet features a supercharged 3.0 TFSI V6 that delivers 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. It will be mated to an S tronic seven-speed double-clutch transmission. Top speed is 155 mph. The current S5 coupe retains the 354-hp 4.2-liter V8 and a choice of six-speed manual or Tiptronic transmissions through model-year 2010. For 2011, the S5 coupe will switch to the cabrio's supercharged 3.0 TFSI V6 and seven-speed S tronic gearbox. The A5 and S5 cabrios will make their world debut in March at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Inside Line says: The switch from a V8 to a V6 in the S5 coupe is yet another recognition by Audi of consumers' evolving perception of the balance between performance and fuel economy. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent" |

s5 are such beautiful cars and with tasteful mods, it looks stunning. only if it's not so big and heavy, handles like a boat, and has more power it would be an awsome car.
maybe the supercharged V6 will change things a lil bit. |
