Less Flickr

It seems a good majority of poeple are using flickr to post pictures now. Is there a reason for this new trend? If not, I'd like to try to coerce poeple to post pictures using either attachments or imageshack.us.

Flickr is blocked out by my work's hard firewall.

because flickr is easy and powerful. it's interoperable with many photo programs. definitely awesome!

Is my work the only one filtering it out? Anyone else sharing my problem?
