0-60 in the ZR1 was almost 3.9 seconds! A regular C6 can run that. The CTSV does that. That dude sucks.

the gt2 is one fast ass car....ive seen the vid...

i bet it must be real hard launching either car with so much power and torque.

I would bank on that being a traction issue, unless the ZR1 has been tested faster (not sure if it has or not). The same reason a Mustang GT500KR does a 0-60 not much faster than a regular GT. But once it hooks it's a world of difference. I am just assuming this is the same deal.

I believe the GT2 has launch control, the 2010 ZR1 will also have it. I love Porsches, but the ZR1 should have won that one.

The fastest 0-60 I've seen for the ZR1 is 3.3 seconds. I've never seen a 0-60 under 3.5 seconds. The guy in this video ran the ZR1 in 12 seconds. Most reviews I've seen are the very low 11seconds. 12 seconds is for a gt3....

ive seen 11.1 seconds for a gt2....

but then again ive seen z06's hitting 11's also.

i believe the dude driving the gt2 didnt know how to drive eithier..

u guys do realize that the 2nd vid is UK made?? y does it matter? cuz they hate American cars there and all suck on Porche tits all day long. don't get me wrong, GT2 is one hot car but ZR1 should not have gotten beat that bad (or at all).. there was no "launch" to speak of as most can see how bad that ZR1 driver is.

like top gear, i love the show btw, but they shit on American cars every chance they get so i wouldnt be surprised if they purposely let the Vett lose here as well.. :/

Not doubting you, but where are you seeing 11.1 for a GT2? I'm consistently seeing ~12.0 for the 2009 GT2, while consistently seeing ~11.1 for the ZR1.

well its no mystery it will....

its got 100 more torque and hp and weights about the same as the gt2.

they are both great cars
