So who's got a bike?

Im thinking of getting a new bike. Im looking at the new Ducati 1098 and the Daytona 675...I wanted to see what kinds of bikes you guys own.

What you have pictured is arguably the best bike in the world and the other is a good bike in it's class. Your two options are from complete opposite ends of the sport bike spectrum. 1000+cc vs. 675cc. Both are very nice choices and I would pick the Duc.

I had an 02 R6

i have always been interested in bikes and always wondered, how do you go about learning and getting a licence? cuz you cant really get on a bike with mom or dad and they yell at you when you screw up and scare them.

Just flip through the yellow pages. A few classes should be available. Similar to driving school for cars.

oh yeah, and the old fart in me has to chime in that if that's for your first bike then neither of those is a good choice

too much power, too pretty to watch fall over, too expensive to fix when it falls over.

ride a ducati once and you'll never ride anything else again... all bike are great though.... i have my 1998 916 w/ tons of upgrades and i love it! it is my dream bike... they handle like 600's and pull like 1000's sound sick, dry clutch, and lots of low wnd torque....... but if its your first bike, go ride a scooter, then dirtbike, and wait like 2 yrs......
(that ducati you have pictured is the most powerful power to weight ratio superbike ever made, tons of power)

600's are considered "small" bikes but they are putting out like 110 plus hp, simply nuts.... on the street u really have to watch yourself, track u can get away w really riding.......
i'll put an updated pic of my bike on here real soon

by the way to me its more than just a bike i have been i love w/ ducati's since 1991.... no other bikes have done that for me...

i'm getting the 335i really soon, just becuase its nice, powerful, bla, bla..... but def not "in love with it"

to each their own, check out ducati.ms for best info you can get!
