HELP! need a site of historical events...

anyone know a site where i can type a certain day of the year and it gives me the historical events happened on that day??

like entering 12th of May, and it gives me what important historical events happened in that particular date in the past??

Google "This Day In History" and you'll get quite a number of sites of this type.

Try Wikipedia too... I just put "May 12" and it went straight to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_12

Lists events, births, deaths, holidays etc.

But I would think that the "This Day In History" type of sites have been around much longer.
