Everyone thought News Corp was crazy paying half a billion for it, looks like old Rupert got the last laugh. Yahoo is busy trying to pay 3 times that for Facebook to keep up.... that acquisition would put them back on top for the forseeable future.

Obviously it should be noted that yahoo has double the unique visitors myspace does, myspace is a very sticky site.

I've only visited MySpace once when checking out Fort Minor's page... other than that, I have tons of friends that always check it and have pages. So far I've managed to avoid MySpace, Facebook, etc.

Facebook at least looks good. MySpace gives me a headache when I just see it on a friend's pc.

The only thing I do on my myspace lately is change the background picture. I think it has fallen out of my things to do list

Well the openess of MySpace is what made it great! You have the ability to write code and modify it as much as you want. The downfall of Friendster was for that exact opposite reason. They were very constrictive and didn't allow alot of things on user pages. Today's gen. are all about taking something and making it different. Yea..similar to cars, you mod it to your style and you stand out in the crowd. Same thing with MySpace and other social networking sites.

Yep MySpace is number 1 in page views for the month of November. We passed Yahoo by about 1B views. Great time to be working for them.
