Do You Use Notes Applications?
Assuming we are all busy people with a million things to do..
Do people use notes/to-do applications on their phones to help them remember things (ie, tasks, people, memories, etc)? I had this thought.. what if we were able to "smell" something that would trigger this memory. Wouldn't it be much faster and efficient than say typing a note on the run? IMO, I think it would be epic if my phone could produce a scent that reminded me of someone I had to contact, or an errand I needed to run. What does everything think about this idea? |

Plus, what smell would you use for that fat, annoying dude you need to call back?

Smell is a reasonable idea but it's very limited. Once you have to remember more than 1 or 2 items at a time it'll simply smell like one giant garbage heap.
Granted, that might be a good incentive for people who normally procrastinate. |

I knew someone was gonna mention garbage, but this is true.. I hate having to type reminders and notes to keep track of things. Paper is messy. What we need is instant memory pills..

Not really but I put one on my phone today for some meeting.
What happens if you don't smell it? Like if it becomes overpowered by some other smell, or if it's windy outside haha. |

I use my memo app on my Bold for random things like locker passwords, schedules, random notes, etc. I use my Bold's calendar for my daily non-academic agenda. I have a physical journal for schoolwork.
I just hate typing it all in. It's surprisingly handy if you force yourself to use it.
