Concord Watches
Anyone have any experience?
These retail for about $8-20k.... Found one I really like for about 1250, or another one for $1800.... La Scala with about 18 diamonds, and another La Scala (same style/watch) with about 40 diamonds.... Certified.... This is what it basically looks like: except the one that has more diamonds has more.. lol, and the one that has less doesn't have any on the bezel I have been wanting to replace my old Tag Link that had 17 diamonds ever since it was stolen 3 years ago... Any input and opinion is much appreciated.

I'd be really careful about a scam at that price, but if you are sure, go for it!

Try Ashford...
They've got several deeply discounted Concord models amongst others.. While there are certainly some more Masculine Concord models out there, if if you want to wear diamonds I say go for it! Suggesting a Panerai is nice idea... but its also about 5x what he is looking to spend, so it might not be too relevant. |

I admit that diamonds on the bezel are feminine
buttt when it doubles the carat amount.... this is the 1850 one: http://www.ashford.com/ashford/brows...urce=605555123 (more pricey at Ashford, weird) the 1250 is that, except remove the bezel diamonds. It'll be less feminine looking but also less shine lol I admit though, i prefer watches without diamonds on the bezel... but it just shines soooo damn much in person...

I don't think it's the diamonds that necessarily make it look feminine, might be a combo of the dial and band.
I think it's a good deal, obviously, but if it weren't such a good deal would you still be looking at the same watch? I would get the watch that looks the best within that price range, not the best deal (unless you can resell). For that price range, you can find something better in my opinion. It's your money though. |

The diamonds aren't girly, IMO it's the MOP face.
Something annoys me about how the band meets the bezel though...

Concords are fine watches. I have three of them, a Mariner and two Deliriums. They are generally avialable at significant discounts even when new.

thought it'd more useful and practical than a fancy watch :P
