Thanks guys for the feedback. I just posted the sema pics cuz I thought you guys would appreciate pictures of the show. I would, however, like feedback on optima pics and other pictures from my flickr.

I pretty much use the 28-135 kit lense the camera came with for all my pictures. I'm planning on getting a Canon 10-22 for better HDR shots and car show runs so I don't have to wait a half hour for the human traffic to clear up just to take a picture of a car.

Good shots, showing lots of potential.

Your HDRs look over saturated to me, but I like the compositions. Some of those might be better in B&W. I think the sunset (sunrise?) is the best of the HDR lot, mainly because it's hard to imagine what the "real" saturation point is in a sunrise/sunset. It works very well there.
