Just got back from an almost 3 week business trip to CA. Here's some random pix. Post yours! CA is a big state.....should be lots of random stuff.

Please feel free to critique! I've got 2 new variables going on: 1) new 16-35L and 2) I've only recently started shooting in manual mode (usually used Av).



This is the closest I've gotten to shooting an abandoned house. Far cry from Rodi's pix. I don't know that he had to worry about meth heads, though.







I have no idea what this was..... Bright @$$ light (REALLY bright) that's on only during the day.













Incidentally.....is there someone here with a gray Z4MC that is around Via Marina?

nothing really catches my eye, but the pictures are really sharp and have nice colour!

I agree that some aren't anything special. I'm kind of partial to the homes near Via Marina, though. I thought those were interesting. lol

That explains why you could see them brightly during the day from all directions but couldn't see them at all at night!

Went thru a few more pix. Hopefully these are better, but feel free to critique. These are all at the Getty Center.
