Vacation dilema... Athens or European road Trip

Compromise. Stay a bit longer in Athens and then go to other locations. See if there's any other location she particularly likes on your list or if she can suggest one.

Well, vacation is done and we ended up doing none of the above. I picked up my new BMW S1000RR amd rode the new bike to the Sachsenring to watch the MotoGP round, the bike is amazing. then after I got home she told me she wanted to go to Venezia, so we drove to Venezia. Spend the first day driving, stopped somewhere in Austria and had a great dinner at a nice restaurant, then continued on. Arrived Venezia and left the car, got on a boat and walked to the hotel. Spend a few days there, it was great, we did the gondola ride at night so it was more romantic. In the way back we went to Verona to have lunch, then had dinner in Garmisch, where we spent the night, the next morning went to the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Alps. in the afternoon kept driving and made it home. The vacations was spontaneus, and it was the best thing that ever happenned. No schedules, no expectations, just go and make it up as you go, we stopped whenever we felt like it and did whatever looked or felt interesting at the moment. Everything was spontaneus, one of the best vacations ever, and very relaxing.
