exactly my point, you're self motivated so if you have time we know you'll try to go shoot. If you don't have the time, you can always submit an older photo but its not like you're doing it contest after contest. It's just too bad not more people are like that.

nice shot, I love navy pier but the best view of the city I found was from northerly island cuz you can get the loop and soldier field into the shot aiming northwest. I like how you get a good amount of the lake in this one though. Boat cruise woulda been sick.

how come you never come to any of our Chicago meets?

Thanks. I like the shot I took on the opposite side of the pier a little more but this one seemed to fall more into the sunset theme.

You mean over by Adler? Both there and in front of the Museum of Science & Industry and good spots for some pix.

Meets? If they're downtown, I'd probably show up in my old Jeep.

I guess my answer would be that I've never looked at, nor located, any threads related to meets.

Yeah near Adler is good but if you take that little access road south and pass charter one pavilion or whatever its called there is a good parking lot right across from Soldiers field (view from that lot seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/altonephoto/4263034935/). Another great spot is atop the Whole Foods parking structure on Roosevelt and Canal (south loop seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/altonephoto/4576701451/).

Our meets vary in location. WSTO throws a bunch up in the north burbs (Northbrook) and there is one coming up on the 28th. You should head over to the Midwest Region section more often, we chat/post whore a lot and post stuff about meets all the time (not just E90post meets too).
