No, I don't think the E46 M3 is better looking or driving than the 135i, or I'd have one. The E46 always seemed like the most contrived pastiche of all things past for BMW, all crammed on to a single car. So, are we starting to see that some people see the same things differently? If it helps, I also like the 8C, and I think the M Coupe looks its absolute best in Phoenix Yellow or Laguna Seca Blue, two colors I also think draw too much attention to the E46 shape.

PS, it's Alfa Romeo.
Both the 135i & Z3 M coupe (clown shoe) are ugly in my opinion.

Z4 isnt much better either

There's something to be said about form follows function. It's just that much sexier when a car like the 430 Scuderia looks damn good and you know it's built to perform. Whereas the Vantage is definitely pleasing aesthetically but then you're always feeling like it's somewhat of an empty shell.

But then again... the V12 Vantage corrects that lack of excitement you get with the V8s.

Increase the budget to $200,000 and you can throw in a 2004 Z06 (22k), a 2005 Viper (38k) and a Ferrari 355 (48K). Heck 360s are now in the 70K range, even Gallardos are in the low 80's. Throw in a 2004 SL600 for 32K while your at it.

I am leaning toward the Aston. It can be currently purchased at 65K (more than likely 55K when I will be ready to buy at the end of the year).

The Maserati is about 75K now but they tank in value. So it should also be in the 55K range at the end of the year as well.

Need to hang a picture of my goal up on the wall before it gets much later in the year.

have fun paying for maintenance insurance on all of those

Ill mention a car that no one said. The BMW Z8 is up there as well. I love the 1996 Viper GTS blue with white stripes as well.

Forget about price

Aston Martin V8 vantage...and almost any other model they come out with

Ferrari 458 Italia, Lambo Gallardo

Carrera GT, somehow Mercedes SL500 was nice looking

Porsche tends to be fairly ugly for the price, but performs well.

I guess then the 458 Italia wins as the best car for everything...driving (except no 6 mt), looks, power, performanc.e

I kinda agree. I like both cars, but the pregnant cat (135) and the Z3M (clown shoe) LOL shouldn't be on many most beautiful lists.

I personally think the NSX is one of the best designs executed in a while. Not many cars can turn heads like it does after 20 years.
