Making a Signature for Photography
Hi all, I'm new to the DSLR game and was wondering how to add the signature people use at the bottom with their names? For example, I was thinking about KR Photography for mine. Is there a certain program I need to make this?

Most image editing SW should work for this.

It's really simple if you have Adobe Photoshop or any photo editing tool. Just grab the "T" (text tool) and type then position it where you want on the picture. hope this helps.

^^ It's that simple.
Nearly as simple is to make something you like and turn it into a brush shape for easy scaling.

Huh......never thought of that. I just have a separate file with sig options. I duplicate the layer and use free transform to resize.

^^^ no, that is a good idea. I'll have to do that. I get sick of switching windows for each image.
On that note...is there a keyboard shortcut in PS to switch between open projects/images?

Aperture has a setting that allows you to stamp any photo you export with a watermark. So anything you save for the web will automatically have it. I'm sure lightroom has something similar.

While generally I would agree with this comment, if its for the purpose of creating a brush in photoshop, then I would also create the vector work in Photoshop. The pen tool is easy to use and/or you can create scalable vector work paths from a Text Layer.

In Photoshop you can also make actions that will always make the logo every time you want to put a logo. Actions save so much time.
I also use image processor to apply my signature to all my pics at once
