It's definitely a cool idea, those guys made a lot of money from it I'm guessing. Saw it on www.kickstarter.com...wouldn't necessarily buy it/wear it myself.

It's not water resistant, the glass is not sapphire and it doesnt have Bluetooth the cable is gonna get annoying quick. Running or in the gym is gonna get ruined quick, for any other purpose is stupid because you would not use all functions except the clock.

its a freaking genius idea. With some tweaks it would be a james bond type do anything watch. Make it water resistant with bluetooth and some other minor changes and you could have a really cool thing going. Obviously Apple would need to be involved to make those changes, but I like the out of the box thinking here.

Charging your watch every night will get VERY annoying.

The next gen. of this will be cool, this is a little clunky, and as someone said without bluetooth these cords will get old fast.
Besides I like a real watch, and anyone who would be interested in this already has an iphone/smart phone. Unless they can turn something the size of a nano into a bluetooth iphone that you could wear on your wrist....that could be interesting. |
