wife's uncle got a free Audi
He has a garage and someone just drove their 1998 A6 there and said do you want it? It needed a new water pump and timing belt, ABS brakes, airbag warning, and apparently the guy said he's tired of fixing it so if you want it, Merry Christmas. Saw the car yesterday and it's pretty nice. Will we be giving away our 335's when they reach 13 y.o. too? LOL Apparently the Audi is $1600 retail to do the water pump and timing belt, but the uncle spent $50 in parts and his own labor to fix it....

Haha very nice where was this? Did the past owner give me a title or other ownership document for it? I would be cautious with something like this, dont want the past owner trying to sue ur uncle for "stealing" his car. If he really just wanted to get rid of it, AWEEEESOME!!

haha seeing is believing, he brought it over last night, cream color, leather, Quattro. The screen is messed up on the dash, ABS and Airbag warnings are on. Apparently the owner had it for 6 years, and paid 6k for it, and doesn't want to spend anymore. His shop is next to a HESS station so the guy just strolled in and had the title with him. The uncle said you guys have BMWs and VWs, so now I've got an Audi...
