No guarantees. No problem. Don't put drops in the other eye, to be safe.

And yes, Collin, you are going to die.

There is a strain of pink eye epidemic going around lately. I had it about 6 months ago and it lasted a good 10 days. It was horrible with eye lids swelling up and all. Since then, I have known about 5 other people who have had the same thing. They all come from different backgrounds and age brackets so I don't think it's a "lifestyle" thing as some have alluded to here.

There is nothing that you can do for a speedy recovery, unfortunately. It's a virus and it has to run its course. Some medicated eye drops with antibiotics helps a bit but it's not a fast remedy. Keeping everything you touch clean including changing towels and pillowcases every day is also highly recommended.

Good luck ....

seems like subconjunctival hemorrhage to me. Make sure there is no swelling on the conjunctiva white part and no discharge. If it is subconj heme, there is nothing anyone can do but to wait till the blood gets reabsorbed usually 1-2 months.

It does look like a conjunctival hemorrhage but it also looks like there is a follicular reaction going on on the palpebral conjunctiva. Its hard to tell in the picture either way. But the picture also isn't him and its just something he found on the internet. It wouldn't be clear enough to guess a diagnosis from IMHO anyway.
