Good luck OP. After such a thread, if I find out you're smoking in a couple days, I'm going to call you out and give you shit for it. With that said, just get through the first week or two.

Congrats you made a good choice! Hope it works for you! I have always thought of smoking as one of the worst things.

Its not as hard as people say it is.. smoking is overrated. I quit cold turkey too after smoking for about 4ish years.

Just got done smoking a wide blue.

I tried quitting cold turkey. Lasted 5 months. I just cut down to 1-2 a day, though smoking an entire pack when I'm shitfaced is not out of the question still.

havent had a ciggy in 8 months and have no desire for one. only when im at parties i want one to "socially" smoke but thats it. i think my commitment to the gym and running is what helps. its not worth it being slow on my runs. I'll probably have my first one in April tho around my bday hahaha. I dont think one or two is a big deal, judging from experience i thouhgt i would never regain my full lung health, but after 4-5 months i feel healthy as a horse, no short breath, no nasty mucus nuthin!

This past New Years was 6 years for me. Today you took the first step of a long, hard journey. Gonna have many days which will be hard to get through w.o one. One drag and your done. Dont give in, keep at it. Good luck.

not smoking for 1 day doesn't mean u quit. it means you haven't smoked for 1 day lmao. good luck though
