Hey Everyone,

Good friend of mine opened up a new Lounge in Downtown LA. Come by and check it out.

I went to their soft open and it's really nice in there.

Well people post up meets and drives with no incentive but to have some fun and meet new people.

So the incentive here would be to have fun, drink, see Akon... don't really need to give people an incentive to go. Just thought fellow forums members would like know about a new place to hang out.

I dont really care about Akon, but guest list or not? Is it expected to be packed? Im sure me and a couple friends are down as long as we dont have to wait in line.

And you reeeeeally don't see the difference in posting up an invite to a drive, and posting up an invite to your friends new club?

I'm guessing it should be packed. If you're serious about going, pm me, and i'll add u to the guest list. That way you don't hafta wait in line.

Yes I do see a difference, thus it's posted on the "Off-Topic Discussion Board"
My point earlier was that people post up all the time for get-togethers. Whether it just be for coffee, dinner, or a cruise. So why not for drinks and music...

But regardless I thought it would be nice for the local forum members to know about a new place to go to. And yes, I did post on the regional boards, where available. Check out the 1, 3, m3, 5, Z4 boards. I didn't see one for 6post, so sorry if I missed it.

Guestlists are BS. This happens all the time that's why I don't go to clubs in LA. You're on the guestlists and so are the rest of the people behind you so you end up staying in line anyway. lol.. Unless you get a bottle.

Hey E92M3WestLA,

I appreciate that you posted this, or else I would have never seen it. I got back about 40 minutes ago. No cover fee, decent music, close to home, I had a good time and so did my friend. Didn't see Akon though? Lol...

(Got there around 10:30, waited in the guestlist line for 30-40 minutes)

NP! That was my intent, to let local forum members know of a new spot. Which guestlist were you on? The people that pm'd me were added to the manager's guest list. I'll have to find out from them if you had to wait also.

Not to say you are complaining about the guestlist wait... But to address what cooh23 and persian54 were saying: you still gotta wait if your on the (general) guestlist unless you get bottle service or have a lot of girls in your group. At least the wait is shorter than the regular line. However, from my experience, if you are on the owner's or manager's guestlist, there is no wait, regardless of bottle service or female count. That's another way to not have to wait in line. LOL

I had to bounce just after 11. I was told Akon was on his way. So I'm not sure what happened after that. I'm curious since you said you didn't see Akon... Will find out.

So I asked and Akon showed up shortly after 1. Not sure what time you left, maybe you just missed him. I was told he did a bunch of songs and it was pretty cool.
