i dunno... the idea of SC2 has been out there for a very long time... creating more races wouldn't be ideal... but then again there is the hybrid zerg&protoss race--but that will probably be cpu.

lol if you want more races... get civilization or something... lol

From what i've read, AND I HAVE READ A LOT, the only changes are that some units are added/taken away from certain races and there are many improvements to each race

off the top of my head

-zealots have a CHARGE ability which lets them travel a distance in a short amount of time to get to ranged units!
-pylons can now transport units
-immortal replaced dragoon and has some funny shield thing which looked really cool
-mobile pylons called colossus which can climb hills and attack too
-some protoss unit can blink
-mothership - new air unit that looks BAD ASS
-an air unit's name that i have forgotten has an ability to attack everything around it with one blast then makes it immobile and vulnerable

terran
-new unit called reapers who can jump hills
-nukes are huge things now

zerg
-i don't remember crap

eh, i guess 3 is the ideal number...as long as they don't take away those protoss dark knights that can fuse into the blue and red archons (sp?)
