haha yea that happened when i was a kid in michigan, those bastards are like time bombs

in florida lovebugs do a similar thing but swarms of them just apear because of environmental conditions being right, those fuckers chocked out a middle school festival of mine back in the day, they literally had to close it down as you could not breath in the fields

why? they pretty much spend their life stuck to a tree making noise, the biggest thing is the yuck factor of all the husks

heres my game plan....i'm gonna walk outside with a leaf blower and force them off my property. if the fat ones wont blow then i'm bringing out the flame thrower!!!
