Really? Did VER ever get penalized for this idiocy/exceptionally dangerous move? Trying to continue on when he knew had damaged steering/suspension and shedding parts all over the track at the beginning of a race when everyone was tightly packed together still?

Maybe you should read more than just the headlines, it was always in the rules. If it was allowed all teams would be doing it also.

FIA is just developing another way to test it now, since it past load testing but is still moving.
"The governing body has written to teams saying it had "become aware" some rear wings passed tests but had "excessive deflections while cars are in motion"."

Article 3.8 of the F1 technical regulations states that bodywork must be "rigidly secured to the entirely sprung part of the car" and "remain immobile in relation to the sprung part of the car".

Otherwise you'd see massive active aero on the cars other than DRS.

Rules have not changed, just not enforced dynamically.
...not as if RB hasn't bent () this rule before and got caught!
They just changed location this time around.

The RB wing passed the current test and was allowed to race without incurring a fine or penalty. Inventing a new test to hinder ANY team mid season is crap. If RB found a loophole or work around good for them. Change the test next year.

Again, If RB found a loophole or work around good for them. Change the test next year. All F1 teams attempt to bend the rules and not get caught.

I think hammy especially put himself in a position so he would be behind Max to watch how the wing behaves and at that speed he 'figured' it was bending in a way he didn't like,so he told Wolff and he went to Fia.
They're like the two stooges nodding at each other lol

If it was a loop hole, there would be a need for a rule change and they'd probably be allowed to run it for this year. (Like DAS last year, all teams were free to develop it but choose not to)

Since it's more of a violation of a current rule, they just needed a way to test wings to ensure compliance. So it's not even bending a rule.

If they were to find a loophole, like Blown Diffusers, DAS, etc. Then sure power to them, but this doesn't look like the case, atleast in FIA eyes.

Its not complicated...if flexible wings are within the rules then all teams all allowed to use them...if they are against the rules then it should be stopped.
Red Bull have been caught cheating again and its quite right that they should be stopped.

Just because it passed one test doesn't mean everything is legal on the car.

That's like saying you have your learners permit so you should have your fia super license and be able to race.

And, most importantly, it is up to the individual teams to PROVE their cars comply with the regulations...not for the FIA to find out what is wrong with the car.

This flexible wing BS is EXACTLY what RBR has done in the past. Habitual cheaters.

There you go again. You are CLUELESS to say I am blind or ignorant, LOL.

So just as an FYI, I work very closely with Equal Opportunity Managers (EEO) in conducting EEO investigations and there are explicit requirements under the law to PROVE or DISPROVE discrimination.

The fact that you simply LABEL others as Racists or are discriminating based on random posts on an F1 Board, without them stating they are outright racist, and without FACTS to back it up is simply not going to cut the mustard. You are simply a Flame Baiter, of which there are a dime a dozen.

Red Bull have found a way to cheat the flexible wing tests.
They got away with their flexible front wing cheat without penalty in the past...no doubt they will get away with this latest flexible wing cheat as well.
Ferrari got penalised for their fuel flow cheat..I don't get while Red Bull should get away with their cheat.
