Hello.

1st post to 1addicts.com, but I've been lurking for a while. I'm #13 on the waiting list at one of the dealerships in Columbus,OH (MAG Auto.)

I've got an '04 MINI Cooper S, so the 1-series is a logical step up for me.

Hi There.

Anxiously awaiting when I will be able to pick up a 135.

Did European Delivery last year to pick up a 330i for my wife last year, and hoping to go again in May to replace my aging 2001 GTI.

Glad to be a member of this forum... I've found it very informative over the last few weeks that I had to join.

I'm currently in an '05 M3, Mystic Blue with Nappa Grey leather. The car is due back in May of '08 due to it being a lease.

I've gathered some info on the n E92 M3 and it will be considerably higher than what I have now. Anticipated 36-mo lease with no $ down to be at or barely above 1k/mo. :iono:

All in all though, I'm actually liking the 135i better though. With a little aftermarket exhaust (quad or dual), some xenon-type angel eyes, and tints this could be a fantastic looking car.

Hi aye, just found and joined the forum, I`m keen on the 123d, but a bit worried it might be a bit small after the Jag S type.
Hopefully a decent test drive should answer that eh!

This forum is a great source of information. I've been in love with the 135i since I first heard it was coming to the US. I can't wait to get mine!

What's up guys. I've been 'lurking' here for a few weeks. I just test drove a new 335i the other day and reached a whole new level of anticipation for the 135i. The car is incredible! Good thing BMW announced the 1, I was just about to put money down for an inferior G37.

Just turned 40 yesterday. My wife gave me a BWM key chain. In the bottom of the box was a receipt for the deposit to get on the waiting list. We're #8 at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte. I was thinking 128, but when I started reading this forum yesterday it's making me really crave the 135.

Glad to join in the fun!!!

Hey everybody, just found this site. I am in the AF stationed in Germany and I just put my deposit down on a 135i. It will be delivered in March. The dealer says that they should be borrowing one from a German dealer soon so people can see it and drive it. I will keep you posted.

Hi Everybody -

New to the forum. We've been racing BMWs for the last 4 seasons (2 with an e36 M3 and the last 2 with the Crevier/Nitto e46 M3).

Hope to learn enough to see if racing the 1 series is something we want to try.

Whazzz up?

Hello Fellow Addicts,

I'm a newb to the site but I just put down a deposit for a 135i which will make it my 8th Bimmer. My first one was a '69 2002 and I'm thinking this new little coupe will bring back a bunch of fond memories about the little Colorado Orange sled that got me through college and truly showed me what car handling was all about.

My current ride is a 2005 MB C55 AMG which is no BMW for handling but provides a nice V8 launch with a great sound but I miss my last car, a 2005 ZCP E46, every time I see an M3. MY take on the 135i is it's an "M1" that without the naming conflict, expensive engine and as close as it needs to be and not raise a bunch of complications with insurance and pricing. Whatever it is I'm excited about getting one.

BTW: I'm out of the car biz now but from 2003 through 2006 I was a BMW :roundel: Internet Sales Manager (hence my login handle) for one of the Hendrick BMW stores. I will be happy to provide, any one that asks, my nearly objective insights into dealing with an honest BMW dealer.

Regards,

Bimmernet
