In most of my dreams, the one's that i remember is that I'm always running away from something, someone, or zombies, vampires. ghosts .. and something else i remember is that when i'm dreaming of driving in a car the breaks would never work when I tried to use it..

My co workers are laughing at me.
Was it the wall where the picture you hung used to be?

Ahhh let them laugh...they probably don't understand. My co-workers laugh at me all the time lol.

Of course I don't mind you asking. Would be nice to make sense of this crazy re-occuring dream.
Whenever I have this dream, it's the same, I'm always lost and trying to find my way out of this mall. I find myself circling around the mall but always come back to the same spot, where I started. There were some stairs, but not alot, two steps, sometimes I'd walk down them to the next level and the other times I'd walk up to the next level. There are people in this mall, but not many, in the section that I am in in my dreams, there are 2-3 (I've never seen these people before, they are unknown to me), whom I go up to and ask for help but they do not help me. They never talked.
The last time I had this same dream, I did make some progression, I actually walked a little bit further than all the other times I've dreamt about this place and went in some caribbean themed store.

Running away from something is a common dream according to whats written out there, but I have not had this dream so I can't say anything about it.
The brakes not working is like something you expect to be there, to rely on, but it's not. Because only you know, does this parallel anything in your current life, which may not be something you think about actively, but is swimming around in the background.

Sorry to turn this thread into an amateur dream intrepretation attempt, but since you don't mind..
How about what are you feeling or thinking? This is important because it links the events of the dream to your actual experience of it. What are you experiencing in the dream? This is the context.
Last night I had a dream I supposed to go on a trip to a old class mate's house, but I did not have any 'formal' clothes, the guy who asked me on the trip said so. I had no idea what this was about, but now half a day later I start thinking could it be that I felt inadequately prepared for the praticality of real-life. The class mate was a guy I used to hang out with, but one time when I slept over with another friend and we were all relaxed and joking he put me in an inescapable headlock under a piano chair. This guy was very heavy, and at the time i was quite athetic, in retrospect I wonder why he did such a mean thing, but after time I realised he may have been jealous and I never could tell he did not consider me to be a real friend. Ok, this is the 'practical' or 'reality' part. The 'prepared' is the formal clothing in the dream.
Because I did not have the correct clothes, and I was going to this guys house (not because i need the clothes to go to this guys house, the two concepts are not linked logically this way but rather by what they represent individually) i took it to mean I felt not prepared for the 'praticality' (harshness/goal-mindness, 'usefulness' etc.) of life. It means I am too un-practical.. like too much theory, not enough do.

Anyways, I give the example to show how the dream is 'built'.. so what you are thinking or feeling as the thing happens is important, because if you're angry, think what other time you were angry in real life - this helps you to find the link. The 'point' of the dream is to show us something we need to be aware of, and it shows us only by metaphor.

Hi, I was just replying you but it toke a while.
I don't know much, but I became interested after I happened upon the teeth fall-out explanation (=separation from source of control/power) and then I never had that dream again, so I became a 'believer'

Lol it's okay, I'm the OP for this. I just feel bad for the others that posted here and they are all receiving notifications now about dream interpretation.

Anyways going back, I know the whole career thing was what I was dealing with before, like what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, do I want to go back to work in a law firm, (which is what I went to school for and completed) or do I want to stay and work for lenders. I won't lie, this still is on the back of my mind but not as much as before, but in the mean time I actually went ahead and completed a mortgage agent course, got my licence and am now working with a real estate agent to build up my clientele and start up my own business.

But the interpretation to your dream is pretty interesting..got me thinking what the meaning behind my dream is.

I have had the same dream where my teeth fell out as well. After I had it I decided to look into it more and I ended up stumbling on a Greek "explanation" which is similar to the one the Chinese use for a dream like this. I guess they believe that when your teeth fall out or crumble during a dream a family member is very sick or close to death.

Now a little back story as to why this blew my mind. A month earlier I took my grandmother to the hospital since she hadn't been feeling well and was always very sick to her stomach. I took her to get it checked out and they couldn't find anything. Fast forward two weeks and they decided to do a CT scan. She was supposed to get the results the next week and believe it or not the night before she got the results I dreamt my teeth were falling out.

Once she got the results it turned out she had stomach cancer. Having this dream and finding that interpretation blew my mind to be honest. She ended up beating it and is doing very well now but I couldn't believe how this happened after one another.

Should I start a new thread?

That's why as someone said before, it's hard for someone else to interpret your dreams for you, because only you know what you are thinking, even if you are able to describe everything about the dream, you still need to match it to the concious situation that the dream is wanting to solve for you.

Let me see if I can think of any other examples, the more you do it the better you get I think.

What is the Greek explanation? I don't know which one is the one I read, I just saw it online somewhere.
So was she your strength or important to you in some way? Her potential leaving was the removal of your teeth..?
My dreams tend to be 'retro' rather than predictive, on long running issues stretching back through childhood.

From what I've read online it was similar to the Chinese explanation, that a close family member or someone close to me was very sick or close to dying.

She absolutely was, that's the crazy part. She practically raised me when I was little, both my parents worked full time so I saw her every day for about ten years. She's definitely important to me so yeah you might be right.

I had a haunting last week. I was sleeping on the couch and at 3:23am I hear this loud music coming from the dining area of the house. It was coming from the computer(desktop)and it was a children's song on youtube my daughter had been watching earlier. I just thought it was on sleep mode or something so I just closed it and went back to sleep on the couch.

Simple solution, crucifix, holy water and bless the house. If you watch any possession / exorcism videos and ppl are levitating and moving ppl and objects with out touching them, then a priest pulls out holy water and prays and the possessed gets hysterical violent reactions in multiple languages ... I'm not sure you need much more evidence then that... Unless your a hardcore scientist that thinks nothing of it unless it can be proven in a rational measurable format and therefore shun the idea that there are forces greater than us out there, and that there is truly good and evil.
